Today was our last day in Saint Petersburg, and also our day free to spend in this beautiful city. Although the night was short for most people, a big group woke up early and went to the Hermitage, which is one of the biggest museums of the world with several exhibitions. Both the building itself and the different exhibitions were very impressive. Besides that, other plans were made such as: enjoying the nice weather in the park, buying souvenirs, exploring the rest of the city and visiting other museums like the etnographic museum and the Faberge museum. A Faberge egg is an artsy Russian egg, and according to Nora it was “Eggscellent”. The day ended eventually in some drinks and games.

Vandaag was onze laatste dag in St. Petersburg en tevens onze vrije dag. Ondanks de korte nacht voor velen is een groot gedeelte van de groep vroeg in de ochtend vertrokken naar het Hermitage. Het Hermitage is een van de grootste musea ter wereld met verschillende tentoonstellingen. Zowel het museumgebouw zelf als de verschillende tentoonstellingen waren indrukwekkend. Verder heeft iedereen zijn eigen plan getrokken: op het terras of in het park genoten van het mooie weer, souvenirs gekocht, de stad verder verkent en het bezoeken aan verschillende musea waaronder het Russisch etnografisch museum en het Faberge museum (met Russische kunstzinnige eieren) wat volgens Nora “Eggscellent” was.
De dag sloot zich af met wat drankjes en spelletjes.
